Gen Antique Patina
It is a semi-transparent, decorative exterior effect paint based on %100 Pure Acrylic Binder, water-based, highly resistant to external conditions. It has been developed for cement particle boards containing natural minerals and fibers. In order to obtain an antique appearance, aged effects, historical appearance, wood appearance can be achieved with this product by making patina. It can also be used to protect old and new surfaces and to provide a decorative appearance. It is used to create different colored waves on Gen Fiber Cement.
Surface Preparation and Application Method
On the first surfaces to be applied, dirty or loose textures and on old painted surfaces, swollen or dusty parts should be cleaned and primed with Gen Silicone Exterior Primer. Gen Wall Putty is recommended for surface repairs. After primer application, it is recommended to apply 2 coats, waiting 3-4 hours between coats depending on the air temperature.
Dilution / Mixing Ratio
It is ready to use. In cases where it is desired to slow down the drying, 7.5 L should be added to 15 L of Antique Patine Solution.
Paintable (Coatable) Area
15 m²/L in a single coat, controlled sample application should be made. Varies according to the pattern.
Drying Time
Complete Drying Time: Min. 24 Hours. Waiting Time Between Coats: Min. 4 Hours.
