Gen Fiber Cement Coating and Jamb Varnish
It is a high quality, water-based, exterior paint based on acrylic copolymer resin, suitable for all types of exterior use. It is resistant to moisture and water, has high covering and alkali resistance. It is specially designed for self-textured cement particle boards and jambs such as wood pattern, stone pattern etc. It is extremely resistant to the destructive effects of variable weather conditions with its superior formulation structure.
Surface Preparation and Application Method
All surfaces should be cleaned of dust, oil and chemical substances. On surfaces to be applied for the first time, dirty or loose tissues, and on old painted surfaces, swollen or dusty parts should be cleaned and primed with Gen Silicone Exterior Facade Primer. It is recommended to wash the surface of raw plastered surfaces with high lime content by mixing 1 part vinegar and 1 part water before applying primer and paint. Cracks should be filled with Gen Wall Paste. Surfaces should have completed their curing period. It is applied in 2 layers. 3-4 hours should be waited between layers.
Dilution / Mixing Ratio
If necessary, it can be used by diluting with 5% water.
Paintable (Coatable) Area
11 - 13 m²/L in one coat.
Drying Time
Complete Drying Time: Min. 24 Hours. Waiting Time Between Coats: Min. 4 Hours.
