Surface Preparation and Application Method

On wooden surfaces; knots are burned and old paint, if any, is scraped and sanded. Then, it is preferably primed with Gen Synthetic Primer. On plastered surfaces; areas that need to be filled should be puttyed with Gen Wall Putty and primed with Gen Synthetic Primer. (Gen Satin Plaster Primer or Genizol 1/7 Concentrated Primer should not be applied directly on the primed surface, the surface should first be primed with Gen Synthetic Primer.) On metal surfaces; after cleaning the dirt, rust and oils on the surfaces, the surface is primed with Sür Antirust.
