Our company, which was established in Istanbul in 1958 under the name of GENÇNAM TİCARET VE SANAYİ KOLL. ŞTİ., started its business life by taking its place in the industrial sector.

In 1961, we registered the GENÇNAM brand and brought our products to the market with this brand.

In 1968, the brand name "GEN" was changed to the brand that we have been using proudly until today, and under this brand, synthetic paint, varnish paint, powder paint, naphtha, varnish, linseed oil, thinner, aluminum gilding and plastic paint production continued.

Later, we changed our name to GEN BOYA VE PACKAGING SANAYİ KOLL. ŞTİ. and started producing packaging materials in addition to paint production.

In 1971, we diversified our production by adding the "SÜR" and later the "SARAY" brands to our "GEN" brand.

Our company, which was transformed into a joint stock company in 1974, has been operating under the name of GENAŞ GEN BOYA SAN. ve TİC. A.Ş. since then.

In our business life of more than half a century, we have believed that our products should be of high quality and that quality should be continuous through honest and correct trade.

Our determination to "quality comes first" will continue as it was before.
